When I saw this lovely sequinned pin at my favourite friperie, I couldn’t help but think of Daisy Buchanan. What a romantic she was! A woman who loved being in love even more than she loved Jay Gatsby, the man who adored her.
I will definitely be going to see the new movie when it comes out — if only to see if Leonardo does a better job than Robert Redford. Maybe you too will visit the Roaring Twenties and get all “mushy” for a couple of hours.
Before you go, though, perhaps you too would like to “trip the light nostalgic” and find your own romantic treasures at Thrift Shops for Nova in Ste. Anne de Bellevue. You could even check out their Facebook page called, Thrift shops for Nova West Island. If you go there regularly, you might find exactly the romantic piece you’re looking for.

We have been blessed with a flea market opening in our town, as well as a farmers market soon to follow. It makes so much sense to re-use and recycle everything possible and what better way to do it than to put such items on display.
