One Woman’s Wardrobe … Updated.

According to 9 attendees, this event was a success, and is a do-over.

We had fun, polished off 2 to 3 bottles of wine, shared some stories and some laughs, and essentially had a great Thursday evening.  Many went home with goodies ( bras seemed to be high on the menu ) to add to their closets.  Many others were pleased to have more room in theirs.  Even the youngest ( 15 months old ) managed to score a fairy princess outfit complete with wings.

I’m very thankful to all who showed up, and then went home again, … empty-handed or not.  🙂

About Audie Jean

I love volunteering for Thrift Shops for Nova West Island. I also spend a lot of time taking photos, making greeting cards, exploring on the computer, and doing all kinds of other things that stimulate learning. It is very important for me that I LEARN or DO something every day. I have a special fondness for milking cows, reading poetry, cutting grass, walking in the woods, chatting with my grandchildren, and much, much more. Life is indeed fun. Reach me at:

Glad it was a success! I did the same thing here with one attendee (myself) to the tune of apple cider, and Celine Dion’s singing. Instead of going home with anyone the unwanted items went into a large box to be recycled at the clothing donation centre. My dresser drawers are half empty now and my closet is thanking me. Awww the satisfaction found in ‘purging’.
